My name is Taylor Weatherston. I suppose the first time I knew I was a little different from the other boys was when I was seven. Truthfully, I don’t remember his name or what he looked like, but I remember … Read the rest here

BREAKING: The American Civil Liberties Union says it is suing the state of Idaho over a newly enacted law restricting restroom access for transgender people.

The organization announced the lawsuit, stating:
“We’re suing Idaho over a new state law banning transgender people from using the correct restrooms in all government-owned buildings and private businesses that are open to the public. This extreme law threatens felony convictions and up to 5 years in prison.”

The law, known as House Bill 752, was passed by Idaho’s legislature and signed by the governor in 2026, and applies to public buildings and businesses open to the public. It makes it a crime to use a restroom that does not align with a person’s sex assigned at birth, with penalties that can escalate to a felony charge carrying up to five years in prison.

The legal challenge has now been formally announced. In its filing, the ACLU is expected to argue the law violates constitutional protections, including equal protection and due process, as well as federal civil rights law. Legal challenges to similar measures in other states have produced mixed results, but courts have increasingly scrutinized policies that single out transgender individuals for different treatment.

Let’s stop putting words in God’s mouth and unrighteously stamping His approval on your bigotry.

Discomfort isn’t divine guidance—it’s often just unfamiliarity. LGBTQ people are part of the same human diversity that’s always existed—different identities, backgrounds, and lives, all equally real.

If your belief system requires exclusion, it’s worth asking whether that’s really God—or just something you were taught to fear.

In this episode, we sit down with Steve Pynakker, the creator behind Mormon Book Reviews. Steve has never joined the Mormon church, but he’s deeply passionate about exploring the many different branches of the Mormon Restoration movement. On his YouTube channel, he dives into the history, beliefs, and practices of these various groups, offering a fascinating look at a tradition that many people don’t fully understand.

Steve also opens up about his personal journey as a gay man and an evangelist, and how those experiences shape the way he approaches his own faith and the Mormon Restoration. We talk about how he navigates the intersection of identity and belief, and why he’s so committed to making space for honest, open conversations about religion—especially in such a complex, often misunderstood movement.

This episode is a mix of history, personal stories, and some honest reflections on what it means to find your place in a world of evolving beliefs.
